The U-Haul Gallery is a roving exhibition operating out of moving trucks, committed to challenging the idea that art belongs only inside formal institutions. Featuring work by artists like Asher Liftin, the gallery has staged shows everywhere from city streets to art fairs, using mobility as a curatorial tool.

TM was asked to solve a focused challenge: create a fast, low-cost way to achieve gallery-level lighting inside a U-Haul. Working under tight deadlines and strict budgets, the team devised a system of angle brackets, wire, and adhesives-paired with donated fixtures-that transformed the truck into a credible exhibition space, preserving the project's raw energy while elevating the visibility of the art.
