This Tribeca residence is a family’s primary home. It is a conversion into a single-family unit from two adjacent apartments. TM finessed the merging of these apartments by creating a home that maintains a private wing and a public wing, both of which are connected by a large, spatially exuberant corridor that segues from one wing to the other in a continuous gradient of function. The public wing is located closer to the Hudson River, where views look at the southwestern sky, while the private wing is located to the east, where the views are more private and inherently insular.
